Brussels has no less than 80 museums, including the famous Magritte Museum, the Museum voor Schone Kunsten (Museum of Fine Arts), the Museum voor Natuurwetenschappen (Museum of Natural Sciences) and the Jubelparkmuseum (Jubilant Park Museum).
Attractions
In Brussels and environs you will find a diversity of attractions. Enjoyable for the young and the elderly: water fun park Oceade or Mini-Europe, the Atomium, Manneken Pis, and the Brussels Aquarium. For grownups a visit to the Cantillon Brewery is an absolute must.
Shopping
Brussels is renowned for its many shops and boutiques. You can encounter all large store chains around the Market at Nieuwstraat. Fans of antique and flee markets visit De Zavel. Or pay a visit to the flee market at Vossenplein. In Brussels you can shop endlessly.
Other cities
Also try paying a visit to the cities in the Brussels environs. Within twenty minutes you are already in Antwerp with its many restaurants, museums, and the famous Birds’ Market. Leuven is a city with beautiful, centuries’ old monuments, art, and festivals. Or pay a visit to the historic centre of Mechelen. The impressive Saint John’s Church or the Saint Rombout’s Tower are absolutely worth a stop-over.
